#9 – The Hostages Remain at the Forefront — Until They All Come Home

Publication date: 01.07.25

In June alone, the bodies of 8 Israeli hostages were recovered from Gaza in heroic rescue operations carried out by the IDF and Shin Bet. While the international community keeps pressuring Israel to end the war, we’re here to remind the world: 50 hostages are still being held — and this war won’t end until they’re all brought home.

#9 – The Hostages Remain at the Forefront — Until They All Come Home

Publication date: 01.07.25

Throughout the month of June, the bodies of 8 hostages were recovered from Gaza: Judith Weinstein Haggai, Gadi Haggai, Pinta Nattapong, Yair “Yaya” Yaakov, Aviv Atzili, Jonathan Samerano, Ofra Keidar, and Sgt. Shay Levinson. May their memory be a blessing.

Today, 50 hostages are still being held in Gaza — after more than 630 days in captivity. At BrightMind, we continue to speak their names every single day. We share stories, facts, and calls to action to make sure the world knows: this war will only end when every hostage is brought home — the living and the dead. We call on the international community to apply real pressure on Hamas to surrender and release them.

You might be surprised to learn how many people around the world have never even heard of October 7 — let alone the fact that Israeli hostages are still being held. The Palestinian propaganda machine works overtime to cover up the massacres, rapes, and kidnappings — and instead spreads the lie that Israel started a war out of nowhere on October 8.

That’s why we need to flood social media with testimony, stories, and posts about the hostages — those who made it home and those who haven’t. International pressure must be aimed where it belongs: on Hamas, the terror group responsible for this war and for the suffering of both peoples.

Every like, comment, and share helps us raise awareness and apply pressure. Our mission is to ensure that the world knows these hostages exist — and that there’s only one way to end this war: bringing them all home.
